About the Artist Shauna Leva

Since age ten I knew that I wanted to be an Illustrator. I was drawing and painting at a very young age, and was always known as the 'art girl' in school. At thirteen I began selling my work at Anime Conventions; I was a big hit, and so I continued to sell at conventions and festivals for the next few years.Comic books were always of interest to me, and in 2006 and 2007 I published the first two volumes of an original Manga series: Celestial Condemnation. The exposure that I gained from selling my work prompted me to begin this website where I could display and promote my work, as well as make it easy for people to find and hire me for commissions. Shortly after, I began teaching how to draw workshops in libraries and community centers in the Boston area.
I graduated highschool as the "Most Artistic" superlative and went on to College at the University of Hartford's Art School to Major in Illustration; I am currently a sophomore there. As I continue to develop and diversify my skills as an artist, I continue to take commissions and cosplay seasonally. After I graduate, I plan to become a full-time Illustrator, but I will surely always have a wide range of hobbies and other interests.

If you have any questions about commissions, workshops, or any of my work, I'd be happy to send you more information.
