Wedding Décor: Details

  • by

Happy New Year! May 2023 bring you exactly what you need. I’m still digesting 2022, and the big wedding reception that consumed most of the year, but looking forward to the changes brought about by the new year.

Today I’m posting a few photos of wedding décor details, like the wood-burned thank you sign above. Handmade with care to personalize our big event.

The wood-burner and the chainsaw got a real workout making these bar accessories.

We hand-carved and burned all of the table-numbers.

And of course we can’t forget the escort cards which I lettered completely by hand.  You really get to know your guest-list when you have to write their names over and over again on various stationary. Metallic ink on dark paper was the right amount of moody. The blue cards indicate a dietary restriction.

Jake made this pen-holder to hold our metallic feather-pens for signing the guest-book, which you can kind of make out in the background. It’s a tree-of-life in plexiglass where the guests sign little leaves and drop them onto the ‘tree.’
