I have been drawing for all my life. Since my teenage years I have been working as a part-time freelance artist and illustrator composing graphics for small business, non-profits and individual use. Sewing and multimedia work also started in my teens. Primarily self taught, I worked in pen & ink, acrylic, and graphite for most of my childhood. As a teen I wrote, illustrated and self-published several 180-full page graphic novels.

At the University of Hartford I majored in Illustration, learned to work in clay, refined my computer skills, and interned at the Hart School of Music’s costume shop as a tailor. UHA is also where I relearned watercolors, which has now become my primary painting medium.

Out of school I vended at Renaissance fairs and conventions, and opened my own studio before becoming a  full-time medical illustrator in 2013.

I love to draw, paint, craft, and make costumes. I built this website to serve as an online portfolio of my work, as well as a catalog of my years of experience and efforts to develop my skills. I can’t share my day-job work here, so everything you see is either a commission which I retain the rights to, or purely for my own self-betterment.

When I’m not in the studio or at work, my hobbies include rock-climbing, hiking, belly dance, yoga, and now gardening.
