Retail Space at Yellow Bear Market

  • by

Getting rid of things is hard and maybe you can relate. I don’t want useable things to end up in a landfill, and what if I could cannibalize the thing someday for a craft? Anyway, artists tend to hold onto more than they need, waiting for the right opportunity to let it go. When I saw a sign looking for new vendors at a local indoor marketplace I had to inquire. The store is a hodgepodge of tag-sale items, vintage crockery, collectibles, and hot-sauce.

Now I have a “booth,” this silver bookcase, by the front door to sell antiques, art supplies, accessories, costume-bits, jewelry, seeds, and more that have been accumulating in the stash. I don’t care so much about making money; I just hope some items find their way to people who can make use of them. This is just the first car-load that I dropped off during my lunchbreak. I’ll fill the rest of it shortly!
