At the end of May we tried to attend the Robinhood Medieval Festival in Western Connecticut. I even checked the website and facebook page for weather notices before making the hour drive. Just as we, and several other cars were arriving, with clearing in the forecast, the faire announced they were closing early due to rain. Here we are decked out in the parking-lot looking sad.
